On July 22, 2008 I took a trip to Walter Reed Army Medical Center to spend some time with   Cpl Christopher Levi.  He has made tremendous progress since our last visit, and he was proud to announce that he can walk a quarter mile on his new legs! 

His determination is amazingly steadfast and his courage remarkable! I also presented Chris with a $500.00 check on behalf of Suffolk County Homefront to assist with the fundraising efforts taking place for the purpose of renovating his parents Holbrook home.
